Natural beauty inspires and enriches life in this garden city. There are massive national parks having unique features covering few acres of land. They are San Joaquin River Parkway, Shinzen Japanese Garden, Woodward park, King Canyon, Yomemite National park to name a few. These public parks have become favorite tourist place, attracting thousands of people for recreation and fun activities. Fresno’s Chaffee zoo represents about 200 species including reptile house, sunda forest, tropical rainforest and more. Whereas the Roeding Park a home to Chaffee zoo is an amusement park consisting of talking environment from popular stories and fairy tales some exhibited by live animals. These parks are picnic spots in the weekends and provide special offers like jogging course, training the young to fish etc it provide pure amusement.
Fresno Museums features art, history, science, and things of architectural significance. They often organize series of exhibitions where they feature a number of shows from their collection, lectures and other programmers. They also produce a variety of film programmers where one can see classical films, anime and international selections. Fresno is also a home to more than thirty structures on the national register of Historic places. The most popular one is the Meux family house, and the Kearney Mansion Museum that once held 250,000 gallons of water for this city.
Fresno Ballet offers best entertainment in Fresno throughout the year whereas in the big Fresno fair one can enjoy horse riding, concerts, food and many more.
